What is Physical Education

The Mind & Motion Physical Education Program is a structured, coach-led training experience that combines youth athletic development with age-appropriate physical education for homeschool students. It’s designed to teach movement fundamentals, build physical confidence, and develop long-term strength, coordination, and body awareness through intentional, progressive training—not just recreational play.

Elementary School Program

Mind & Motion is a structured, age-appropriate physical education and youth performance program designed specifically for elementary school homeschool students ages 7–10. Led by certified coaches, it builds foundational movement skills, strength, coordination, and confidence through intentional, engaging training—not just play.

Middle School Program

Mind & Motion is a performance-driven physical education program tailored for middle school homeschool students ages 11–13. Designed by certified strength and conditioning coaches, it challenges students to develop athletic movement, strength, speed, and body control while reinforcing discipline, confidence, and leadership in a structured training environment.

What Makes Mind & Motion Different?

Unlike recess-style PE or general fitness classes, Mind & Motion is a professionally designed homeschool physical education program developed by certified youth strength and conditioning coaches. With decades of experience training young athletes, our team delivers a structured, age-appropriate training environment tailored specifically for elementary (ages 7–10) and middle school (ages 11–13) homeschool students.

This isn’t just exercise—it’s a comprehensive athletic development experience. Students learn foundational movement skills, build strength and coordination, and develop essential traits like discipline, focus, confidence, and teamwork. Sessions are intentionally designed to match each age group’s physical and cognitive development, offering the right mix of challenge, education, and fun.

While Mind & Motion is not an accredited homeschool PE course, it offers a meaningful and structured break in the academic day—blending physical activity with learning.
