The Athlete’s Playground Presents: Mind & Motion

Middle School Home School Program

A Premier Home School Physical Education Program for Middle School Students (Ages 11–13)

Program Overview

Mind & Motion is an elite-level Home School Physical Education Program designed for middle school students ages 11–13 who are ready to go beyond basic physical activity and step into structured, intentional athletic development. Hosted by The Athlete’s Playground, this 12-week program focuses on building not only physical capacity, but also mindset, discipline, and leadership—creating confident, coordinated, and capable young athletes.

Our program bridges the gap between physical education and long-term athletic development. Whether your child is active in sports or simply seeking an engaging way to move, grow, and improve their physical fitness, Mind & Motion offers a transformative experience that supports both performance and personal growth.

Why Choose Mind & Motion at The Athlete’s Playground?

This is not a traditional Physical Education (PE) class or open gym. Rather, it is a professionally designed and coached youth educational fitness program that respects the unique developmental needs of middle schoolers. Students are challenged with structured workouts, coached in proper form and movement patterns, and held accountable in a positive and supportive setting.

While Mind & Motion is not an accredited Homeschool Physical Education course, it offers homeschool students a purposeful and enriching way to break up their academic day. Participants not only engage in high-quality physical training, but also learn how fitness supports athletic development, improves overall health, and enhances everyday function. Most importantly, students gain a deeper understanding of the “why” behind the movements—empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to make healthier choices and take ownership of their physical growth.

Through fun, focused sessions led by certified youth strength and conditioning specialists, your child will be guided through a full spectrum of movement and athletic skill development—all while reinforcing values like teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and goal-setting.
