The Athlete’s Playground Presents: Mind & Motion
Elementary Home School Program
A Premier Home School Physical Education Program for Elementary Students (Ages 7–10)
Program Overview
Mind & Motion is a dynamic, professionally developed Home School Physical Education Program designed specifically for elementary school students ages 7–10.
Powered by The Athlete’s Playground, this 12-week curriculum goes far beyond traditional physical education—blending elite youth movement training, age-appropriate strength development, and social-emotional learning into an engaging and structured environment.
Whether your child is naturally active or needs a safe, supportive space to grow in confidence, Mind & Motion delivers an evidence-based, movement-rich experience that builds strong bodies, sharp minds, and healthy habits for life.
What Makes Mind & Motion Different?
Unlike basic recess-style PE or recreational fitness classes, Mind & Motion is developed by certified youth strength and conditioning coaches with extensive experience training athletes from the ground up. It is not just a fitness class—it is a developmental athletic program that teaches foundational movement skills, mindset, discipline, and teamwork in a way that is age-appropriate, engaging, and purposeful for children ages 7 to 10.
Though Mind & Motion is not an accredited Homeschool Physical Education class, it serves as a valuable and intentional break in the homeschool day—providing both physical activity and educational enrichment. Participants not only get moving, but also learn about the principles of fitness, how the body works, and how movement supports both athletic performance and overall health.
Through guided instruction, children gain an understanding of the “why” behind the exercises they perform, encouraging lifelong habits of physical literacy, healthy living, and self-confidence.
Our team knows how to challenge young kids physically while respecting their need for fun, creativity, and connection. Children will be educated, guided, and supported as they explore what their bodies can do—safely and confidently.
