Get Faster this Summer. We'll Prove It.

TAP Speed Camp is the only performance camp in Albuquerque that measures your athlete before the first session — and gives you a written report after the last one. You’ll see exactly how much faster they got.

Looking for a speed camp in Albuquerque to help your athlete run faster? The Athlete’s Playground Speed Camp helps athletes in the Albuquerque Metro Area improve acceleration, sprint mechanics, and overall speed through structured performance training.

Most Athletes Train Hard in the Summer. But Without Proof, Nobody Knows.

Your athlete works all summer. Goes to camps, hits the gym, runs with their team. Then August comes, tryouts happen, and nothing has visibly changed. Not because they didn’t work — but because they trained without a system designed to produce and document measurable results.

TAP Speed Camp fixes this. On Day 1, every athlete gets tested: first-step quickness, linear speed, change of direction, and agility. On the last day of camp, we test again. The difference is yours in writing.

Eight Sessions. One Real Goal. Documented Results.

  • Pre-camp performance assessment

  • Progressive speed mechanics curriculum

  • First-step quickness training

  • Linear speed development

  • Agility and change-of-direction training

  • Post-camp assessment

  • Written performance report

  • Small group coaching environment

TAP Flex Training™ — Designed Around Your Summer, Not Against It.

We train twice a week, by design. Two structured, high-intensity sessions per week produces better speed results than five unfocused ones — and it means you still get to have a summer.

Simple Pricing. Real Value.

Think about it this way: 8 sessions with a performance specialist, pre/post testing, and a written results report. That’s about $31 per session. A single private training session in Albuquerque often runs $75–$100.

Early Bird: Register by May 1st and save an
additional $20.00 off any tier.

Questions? We Have Answers.

Q: What if we have a family vacation that week?

A: That’s exactly why we built TAP Flex Training. If you choose both months, missing one week doesn’t break your program. You can also choose just the month that works best for your summer.

Q: Is this for serious athletes only?

A: TAP Speed Camp is for athletes in grades 5–12 across all sports who want to get measurably faster. Day 1 testing establishes an individual baseline, so each athlete is competing against their own numbers.

Q: What sport is this for?

A: Speed is the universal currency of sport. If your athlete’s game rewards faster starts, better acceleration, and better direction changes, this camp fits.

Q: How is this different from a regular cam?

A: Most camps run drills and send athletes home with a t-shirt. TAP starts with testing, builds a real progression across 8 sessions, and ends with a re-test plus a written report showing exactly what improved.
